![]() It's clear from the outset the dev team was out to no just make parodies anymore (though they do that for the most part), but also to try to create something of their own. I can see how a non veteran gamer will probably not appreciate the references and just discard the gameplay as "it doesn't know what it wants to be", when it really just wants to mimic other games to a basic level, then move on to the next parody.Įvloand 2 really kicks off things a lot more. Gameplay is as basic as it gets, but switches genres often enough to keep things interesting. Sometimes you want to watch the a big solid movie, sometimes you just want to watch a youtube parody funny video. Not terribly long, you finish 1 in around 8hrs and 2 in around 18h, but what is there, is worth going through.Įvloand 1 is more of a parody game, clearly taking from other genres and games and creating a jack of all trades in a parody funny story that is not to be taken seriously more concerned about putting in as many references as possible rather than even telling a story. The price is right for what they provide, fun, non serious stories with a lot of parodies and solid and varied gameplay. Overall, they are good games and I highly recommend them. ![]() ![]() Just finished Evloand 1 and 2 in sequence, and figured I would share some thoughts around it.
